8/22/11 - 8/26/11
The students learned all about the different genres of fiction and nonfiction writing. They made frayer models to look back on when they need to write a specific genre.
They also learned about prefixes, suffixes, and syllable types to help with they're reading and spelling.
They did an activity to find the main idea and details in a passage and used that information to write a summary.

Welcome Back, Welcome Back, Welcome Back!!!!!
School starts back August 22, 2011.
