6th graders are working on basic grammar skills. We have gone over types of sentences and sentence parts. We will continue with the 8 parts of speech and how they are used appropriately in good sentences.
We are also working on spelling and vocabulary, important aspects of language arts. (See 6th Grade Spelling Page for this week's words).
